THE KLABIN COMPANY BROKERS SALE OF TORRANCE TECHNOLOGY CENTER IN PRIME SOUTH BAY LOCATION

Klabin Team Represents Building Owner in $10.65 Million Transaction for High-Image Building

(March 3, 2021 – TORRANCE, CALIF.)The Klabin Company/CORFAC International announced it negotiated the sale of the Torrance Technology Center at 2335 W. 208th Street in Torrance, Calif. The 38,160 square-foot, high-image corner industrial building is located on more than one- and one-half acres of land and features heavy power, dock-high loading, 87 parking spaces and an 8,000 square-foot bonus storage mezzanine.

The Klabin Company team of Todd Taugner, SIOR, Frank Schulz III, SIOR, Mike Ouellette and Nick Buss represented the seller, Glenn Streeter, in the $10.65 million transaction. The property was sold to Frontline Holdings, LLC, a vertically integrated real estate operating company that provides investment, property and construction management services. Frontline was represented by Bart Pucci of Savills in its purchase.

“Opportunities to buy industrial buildings in the South Bay are limited, and Torrance is one of the most prized locations,” said Taugner. “The seller enjoyed decades of success in the building. His company designed and manufactured custom-made jukeboxes under the name of Rock-Ola Manufacturing Co. He sold the business in 2019 to a British firm which continues to sell the musical products.”

According to Taugner, Frontline Holdings has already secured a new tenant for the building, a beautiful concrete structure built in 1989.
