THE MUSIC NEVER STOPS FOR ROCK-OLA MANUFACTURING CORPORATION IN TORRANCE

The Klabin Company Represents Custom-Made Jukebox Manufacturer in Five-Year Lease of 45,000 Square-Foot Industrial Building on Sepulveda Boulevard in Torrance Post Office Area.

(April 5, 2021 – TORRANCE, CALIF.) – For Rock-Ola Manufacturing Corporation, the music will never stop in the Torrance area. After long-time owner Glenn Streeter sold the manufacturer of custom-made jukeboxes to a British firm in 2019, and then earlier this year sold the Torrance building where Rock-Ola had been headquartered for decades, the company has secured a new location in the vicinity.

The Klabin Company/CORFAC International today announced it represented the owner of Rock-Ola, Alexander Walder-Smith, in the five-year lease of an industrial building at 1445 Sepulveda Blvd. in the Torrance Post Office area. The 45,000 square-foot facility is currently undergoing refurbishment and is located on more than two acres of land and features heavy power, truck-high and ground-level loading and 86 parking spaces. The building is situated close to freeways on a major boulevard and features a distribution and lighting monument sign.

The Klabin Company’s Todd Taugner, SIOR, represented Rock-Ola in the 60-month lease transaction valued at almost $2.6 million. The Landlord is Campbell, Campbell and Campbell who was represented by Mike Hilton with Gateway Business Properties.

“Rock-Ola is known as the ‘Last All-American Jukebox,’ making its world-renowned products for almost 100 years,” said Taugner. “The company enjoyed its most successful years under its previous owner right here in Torrance, so it was important to the new ownership group to find a building close by where it could carry on the tradition. The building we secured for them is in a prime location and the owner is making a sizeable investment to renovate it in a way that will serve Rock-Ola well for the next several years.”
